Who we are
This website is run by Core and Coat Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17287859), whose registered office is at Second Floor Offices, 25-29 Queen Street, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 1NB ("Gleev", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us at hi@gleevhealth.com.
What this website does
Gleev is not on sale yet. This site shows the product and a preview of how buying will work. If you add a plan to your basket and go through the checkout page, nothing is charged and no order is placed. We ask for your name and email so we can tell you when you are able to buy.
What we collect
- At the checkout page: your email address, first name, last name (optional), the plan you selected (its name, quantity and price) and the language of the page you used.
- If you sign up to the newsletter in the page footer: your email address and the language of the page.
- When you sign up: a record of the sign-up, such as the time and technical details our email provider logs (for example your IP address).
- If you accept analytics cookies: information about how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, device and browser (see "Cookies and analytics" below).
We do not ask for card details, delivery addresses or any payment information, and we do not collect them.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To tell you when Gleev is available to buy. You ask us to do this by giving us your details at the checkout page. We use them only for that purpose and we do not use them for marketing. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a purchase, and our legitimate interest in answering your interest in the product [legal adviser to confirm the basis].
- To send you our newsletter, if you subscribe in the footer. Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics). Legal basis: your consent, given in the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" in the page footer.
Who processes your data
- Klaviyo, Inc., our email service provider, stores sign-ups and sends our emails. Your data may be transferred to the United States, protected by [transfer safeguard, e.g. UK/EU Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses].
- Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics, but only if you accept analytics cookies. Data may be transferred to the United States [transfer safeguard].
- GitHub, Inc. hosts this website and may process technical data such as your IP address when you visit.
We do not sell your data.
Cookies and analytics
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, we do not load Google Analytics and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to measure visits. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer; declining removes the cookies.
Separately, your browser's local storage keeps your basket, the email address you typed, your language choice and your cookie choice, on your device only. These are needed for the site to work as you expect. You can clear them in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Details given at the checkout page are kept until we have told you that Gleev is available and for [retention period, e.g. 6 months] after that, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for [retention period set in Google Analytics, e.g. 14 months].
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy of it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at hi@gleevhealth.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this notice and will change the date above when we do.
